환승역에서
1호선 전철역 개찰구를 통과해 나온
정액권은 이정표를 읽을 줄 모른다.
신길역에서 방향을 잃고
5호선 긴 터널로 옮겨오는 동안
지상의 낯선 도시들은 숨을 멈춘다.
주문처럼 지하의 입구를 막고 있는
환승역의 글자들만 부활을 준비 중이다.
희망은 움직이는 계단을 따라 쉽게
내려갈 수 있지만 출구가 없다.

곧은 경계선을 따라 작은 보폭의
발걸음이 지하의 길을 막으면서 가면
무덤 같은 침묵을 하나씩 달고 걸어가는
사람들의 무관심 끝으로 스러지는 기적소리
화곡역 3번 출구로 나오면서 나는
화석이 된 주머니 속 푸른색 만 원짜리 하나
조심스럽게 꺼내어 로또복권 한 장과
푸른 바다를 사서 식탁 위에 풀어 놓는다.
만원보다 크지 않은 푸른색의 세상은
환승과 환승 사이의 바다로 가는 길을 알고 있는데
선을 긋는 일이 삶에 갇히는 것보다 더 어렵다.
