못난이 삼형제, 첫 번째 이야기
원숭이 똥구멍에 모여 사는 삼형제
평생 지독한 냄새만 풍기는 ‘방구’와
시도 때도 없이 싸대는 더러운 ‘똥’과
오염된 독을 쫙쫙 쏟아내는 ‘설사’가
원숭이 똥구멍에 옹기종기 모여 살았다네
목구멍까지 찬 욕망에 중독된 방구는
지독한 냄새 퍼트리면서 좋아 죽네
툭하면 화내며 성냄에 중독된 똥은
똥싼다고 적반하장 지랄하며 화만 내네
무지라는 어리석음에 중독된 설사는
쫙쫙 쏟아낸다고 똥구멍에게 되레 난리네
원숭이 똥구멍에 모여 사는 못난이 삼형제
남의 집 돈만 넘보는 욕심쟁이 큰 형 방구
퍽 하면 화만 내는 증오의 화신 둘째 형 똥
똥인지 된장인지 먹어봐야 아는 셋째 형 설사
못난이 삼형제는 악마도 어쩔 수 없다네
“똥구멍은 죄가 없다네. 관리 못한 원숭이가 죄지”
In the monkey’s rear lived three vile brothers—
Fart, the stinker drunk on craving,
Poop, the angry brute quick to blame,
and Diarrhea, foolish, reckless, wild.
Fart spreads his stench with glee,
Poop rages, blaming all but himself,
Diarrhea pours poison, then plays the victim.
Greedy Fart eyes others’ gold,
Poop burns with hate, always ready to fight,
and Diarrhea? He knows nothing—
not even the difference between dirt and dinner.
Even demons steer clear
of these pathetic three.
“Don’t blame the rear—
Blame the monkey who let it rot.”
