분노
분노라는 아이가 있었다.
맑고 착하고 아름다운 아이였다.
친구들에게 인기도 많았고
어른들에게 칭찬도 많이 받았다.
분노는 어른이 되어가면서
내면 깊숙이 숨어있는
원초적이며 강렬한 스트레스가
불쑥불쑥 올라오는 것을 알았다.
분노가 받았던 열악한 환경과
불합리한 압박 부정적인 정서가
강렬한 나무처럼 커가고 있었다.
분노는 자신을 찬찬히 바라보았다.
자신을 관찰자로 바라보면 볼수록
자신 안에 있는 집착과 이기심이
뱀처럼 똬리를 틀고 앉아 있었다.
일어났다가 사라지는 화의 원인을
곰곰이 생각해 보고 또 생각해 보니
분노 안에는 미움이 살고 있었다.
자신도 모르는 자기 모습으로 위장해
자신이 되어가고 있다는 것을 깨달았다.
There once was a child named Anger.
A pure, kind, and beautiful child.
Popular among friends,
and often praised by adults.
But as Anger grew older,
primal and intense stresses
hidden deep within began to rise unexpectedly.
The harsh environment Anger endured,
the unreasonable pressures, and the negative emotions
were growing like a fierce, unrelenting tree.
Anger began to look closely at herself.
The more she observed herself as a witness,
the more she saw the coils of obsession and selfishness
curled up inside her like a snake.
She pondered deeply, again and again,
the roots of her rising and fading rage,
and came to realize that hatred was living within her.
Disguised in a form she didn’t even recognize,
that hatred was slowly becoming her.
