새털처럼 가볍고 평화로운 오후
낮게 흐르는 공기에
촉촉한 물기가 갇혀있다가
동굴 천정으로 천천히 밀려나면서
손톱만 한 청개구리 한 마리가
무릎 위로 팔짝 뛰어 올라왔다네
이 작고 여린 생명이 오후의 평화를 깨며
살아있음의 환희로움에 춤을 추는 듯하네
살아서는 도달하지 못할 세상 끝이여
도달하지 않고서는 해결하지 못한 괴로움을
이제 다 벗어버리고 떠나려 한다네
저 청개구리와 공기와 고요와 나는
서로 얽혀 한바탕 신나게 춤을 추고 나면
이번 생은 여기까지 머물다 가려네
내 안의 야생을 깔끔하게 모두 풀어놓고
새털처럼 가볍고 평화로움에 잠들려 한다네
Moist air drifts low,
gathering in silence beneath the cave roof—
until a tiny green frog,
no bigger than a thumbnail,
leaps onto my knee.
This fragile spark of life
breaks the stillness of afternoon,
dancing in joy for simply being.
O edge of the world we never reach in life—
the sorrow unsolved without crossing—
now I let it all go, and prepare to leave.
The frog, the air, the hush, and I
whirl in one last wild dance.
This life, I leave it here.
Unleashing the wild within,
I rest—
light as a feather,
wrapped in peace.
