죽변항에서
대숲을 에돌아 나온 죽변항의 바람이
먹지처럼 스며드는 저녁 어스름을 안고
바다 안쪽으로 무수히 풀어지고 있었네.
마른 바다의 풍경이 시간과 공간을
몰아내고 단순함으로 치달리는
단 하나의 그리움만을 만들어 내며
모든 서정의 운명을 바닷속으로 끌고 갔네.
나는 이 권태로운 자연의 행간에 숨어
바람이 되었다가 바다가 되었다가
저 항구의 심심한 빨간 등대가 되었다가
회색으로 무장한 바다를 좇아
먼빛으로 사위어 가는 저녁 항구에서
꿈꾸듯 그대를 기다리고 있었네.
The wind from Jukbyeon Port,
skirting the bamboo grove,
spills softly into the sea,
ink-like in the fading dusk.
The dry seascape
strips away time and space,
leaving only one pure longing—
and pulls all lyric fate
into the deep.
I hid between the lines of this weary nature,
became the wind,
became the sea,
became the quiet red lighthouse.
Chasing the gray-armored waves,
I faded into the distant light—
and in that dreaming harbor evening,
I was waiting for you.
