이 여인(사진 우측)은 열정적인 인권 운동가 '나시마(Nassima)'이다. 그녀는 사우디 아라비아에서 여성의 운전할 권리를 위해 투쟁해 왔고, 태어나서 죽을 때까지 여성의 삶을 통제하는 남성 후견제도의 폐지를 위해서도 싸워왔다.
그녀는 지금 감옥에서 나날을 보내고 있다. 국제사면위원회가 그녀의 석방을 위해 "그녀는 당신의 도움이 필요하다. 그러면 가족의 품으로 돌아갈 수 있다. 당신은 그것을 해낼 수 있다"고 호소한다.
This is Nassima, a passionate human rights defender. She's fought for the right of women to drive in Saudi Arabia and for the end of the male guardianship system which restricted women's control over their lives from birth until death.
Now she spends her days behind bars. She needs your support. So she can be returned with her family. You can make it happen.
