중국 인민일보는 자체 트위터를 통하여 "중국의 창어(嫦娥) 4호 착륙선과 위투(玉兎) 2호 탐사선이 모두 활동을 재개했다. 이들은 달에서의 첫번째 긴 밤을 취침 모드로 있다가 다시 깨어났다. 달에서 밤의 길이는 지구에서 14일에 해당하는 긴 시간이다. 그리고 달 뒷면에서 극도로 낮은 온도를 견뎌야 한다."고 전했다.
People's Daily China twitted on Friday, "China's Chang'e 4 lander and Yutu 2 rover have both automatically awakened from their sleep mode after surviving the first long lunar night, which equals about 14 days on Earth, withstanding the extremely low temperatures on the far side of the moon."
