남미는 체 게바라, 피델 카스트로, 차베스, 마두로 등으로 이어지는 낭만적 좌익 혁명세력의 본산이다. 이들은 자본주의로부터 착취당하는 가난하고 힘없는 민중을 해방하겠다는 휴머니즘을 내세워 세력을 확장해 왔다.
구소련을 비롯한 사회주의 역사가 증명하듯 소위 말하는 진보주의자들의 행태는 그 시작과 끝이 이율배반의 역사다. 민중을 위한다는 휴머니즘으로 포장한 출발점은 고결해 보이지만, 결국 그들 만의 리그를 위한 가혹한 독재로 이어져 왔다.
소위 말하는 혁명가들은 자신들만의 부귀영화를 추구하는 괴물 독재자로 전락하고 민중의 삶은 더욱 깊은 수렁에 빠져드는 것이 역사적 교훈이다. 지금 베네수엘라의 마두로가 그 실증적 사례를 보여주고 있다.

As evidenced by the history of socialism, including the Soviet Union, the so-called liberalists' actions are the beginning and end of the history of antinomy. Although the starting point for the populist humanism seems to be noble, it has finally led to harsh dictatorship for their own.
The historical lesson is that so-called revolutionaries are reduced to monstrous dictators who seek their own wealth and honor while their people's lives are plunged into a deeper mire of poverty. Now Maduro of Venezuela is showing an empirical example.
