Having a school club makes you closer to achieving your dream.
Do you know anyone who works in the UN? My dream is to be a person who works in the UN to help developing countries. To achieve my dream, I have to know what happens all around the world and I have to study hard in other countries’ languages. To make dreams come true, I think that the foundation is school clubs. These days, school clubs are various and I can learn things necessary for my future career.
In my school, there are many clubs where we can learn something interesting. I think school clubs are good because there are lots of activities that we can do. My school clubs are divided into three kinds of club. First is sports club. Every student must join this club. Sports clubs are divided into 6 classes: football club, table tennis club, basketball club, yoga club, dodge ball club and mountain climbing club. By doing these club activities, students can learn cooperative attitude when students play the game together. Second is a club made by students. For example, there are English reading club, dance club and science debate club. I belong to the English reading club. I have to study English more so I joined this club. And now, my English ability is better than at the beginning. A club made by students is really helpful, because they can do their activities without a teacher’s help. Third is a club made by the school. There is cooking club, nail art club and video production club. They have many experience-oriented activities so it costs money.
For instance my friend belongs to the dance club, and participates in the school festival and a city contest. She said she becomes closer to her dream when she stands on the stage. Another student who belongs to the English reading club said that his fear of English has disappeared and now he enjoys practicing English.
I think school clubs are important. That’s because we develop ourselves. I love my school because there are many clubs to learn what I’m interested in. If you want to find your dream, I recommend you to participate in various club activities.
