내 안에는 두 개의 내가 산다네
욕심 많은 악마 양심 있는 천사
무지 있는 악마 지혜 있는 천사
술을 먹는 악마 절제 하는 천사
감정 많은 악마 이성 있는 천사
자랑 많은 악마 나눔 있는 천사
번뇌 많은 악마 영감 많은 천사
헛꿈 꾸는 악마 현실 자각 천사
거짓 많은 악마 진실 많은 천사
증오 많은 악마 사랑 많은 천사
우린 항상 자유롭고 평화롭고 자비로워
이미 부족함도 없고 애쓸 필요가 없다네
완성이 이루어질 때까지 비완성을 품어
내 안에 갇힌 나를 밖으로 내보내야 한다네
“그대여, 진정한 그대는 누구인가?”
Within me
live two selves:
A greedy demon,
a conscience-bound angel.
An ignorant demon,
a wise angel.
A drunken demon,
a temperate angel.
A fiery demon,
a rational angel.
A boastful demon,
a generous angel.
A restless demon,
an inspired angel.
A dreaming demon,
an awakened angel.
A lying demon,
a truth-telling angel.
A hateful demon,
a loving angel.
And yet,
we are already free,
peaceful, and whole.
Nothing lacking,
nothing to chase.
Until wholeness is complete,
we cradle our flaws—
and set free
the self caged within.
